Only by clearing up misunderstandings can we successfully "create people"

In order to have a healthy baby, many couples go the extra mile to have sex. However, people have many misunderstandings in terms of "creating humans". Recently, the American "Live Science" magazine helped people correct these misunderstandings.

Myth 1: It takes a long time to get pregnant after stopping taking birth control pills. Dr. Jani Jensen, an obstetrician-gynecologist at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, said that 40% of women resume normal menstrual periods or successfully conceive one month after stopping birth control pills. Three months after stopping the drug, 99% of women's menstrual periods returned to normal or they became pregnant successfully. If a woman does not have a period within 3 months of stopping taking birth control pills, she should check whether there is a problem with her ovulation function.

Myth 2: Having sex every day can increase the chance of pregnancy. Having sex every day will make both parties very tired. It is scientific to increase the frequency of sex during the days of ovulation, but at other times just let nature take its course.

Myth 3: Some sexual positions will increase the chance of pregnancy. Dr. Jensen said that it is a superstition that sexual position affects the chance of pregnancy. If a woman lies on her back with her legs raised, it will not increase the chance of pregnancy.

Myth 4: Don’t go for a check-up if you haven’t gotten pregnant a year after sex. If there is no infertility problem, 60% of couples will successfully "create a baby" within 3 months, and this number will increase to 75% within half a year. Doctors suggest that women over 35 years old should undergo a pregnancy evaluation if they fail to conceive within 6 months, while women under 35 years old can relax the time to more than one year.

Myth 5: If a man has had children before, then he will not be the cause of his wife’s infertility. Dr. Jensen said: "Being a father in the past does not mean that you will be a father in the future." Within a few years, many changes may occur in a man, and sperm abnormalities may occur.

Myth 6: Waiting for a woman’s body temperature to rise before sex will help her succeed. Usually, a woman has the best chance of getting pregnant if she has sex the day before ovulation, but a woman's body temperature does not rise until after she ovulates, so there is no need to wait until her body temperature rises before having sex.
